Mediclinic Emfuleni is seeking a dedicated and professional Scrub Nurse to join its theatre unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and high-quality nursing care within the operating theatre, in alignment with nursing protocols and best practices. This role supports a collaborative, multidisciplinary team in ensuring optimal patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team
• Identify, manage, and prevent risks to ensure patient safety
• Foster a positive patient experience
• Maintain accurate nursing records
• Promote a learning environment to develop staff competence
• Ensure accurate stock and equipment usage and billing

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree/Diploma in General Nursing
• Desired: Midwifery and/or Postgraduate certificate/diploma in a relevant specialty
• Minimum: None required
• Desired: 1 year of post-graduate experience prior to placement in a specialized unit
